HONG KONG, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
For the first time since 25 years, Dutch Gallery Delaive will participate in the Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong. Among others there will be new work on display from young Japanese artist Yuina Wada. Wada (b. 1989) won the Suzuki Shin Prize at Geisai #17 and was rewarded with a solo-exhibition at Hidari Zingaro in Tokyo, the gallery of Takashi Murakami. Wada's work is characterised by the use of very bright colors and a unique technique which involves mixed media. Wada: 'I loved drawing and painting since my childhood. I came to love bright colors and shiny materials from about 14 years old. I have studied ways to paint with them. And I think about the world of mind. I want to paint about that.' This will be the first time her work will be shown outside of Japan.
