Located on the 6^th floor of HSBC's international headquarters in Canary Wharf, Generation Success successfully hosted "GS Power Series: Banking and Financial Industries." This powerful and invigorating seminar provided today's aspiring youths with the incredible opportunity to gain first hand advice and guidance from some of the UK's leading financial experts.

Generation Success is honored to have had Debra White, Jason Evans, Stacy Pollard, Jagdeep Rai and Jeremy Adam each take to the stand and deliver their honest and highly inspirational stories. Our audiences, evidently inspired by our speakers were seen passionately noting down the varied and wide-ranging advice that was proposed by our experts. Our audience was unremittingly reminded to have inner confidence and solely focus on the things that are within their power to influence and the skills they possess, as opposed to concentrating upon any weaknesses. Stacy Pollard delivered an imaginative approach to her speech and explained the answers to three conundrums, each puzzle demonstrating a key skill that would allow one to succeed within this competitive industry.

The brutal honesty that was provided by our speakers was incredibly inspirational and encouraging for our audience. Debra White spoke fondly of her council estate roots and served as concrete affirmation that your economic or educational background does not classify or limit your potential and capabilities. Jeremy Adam humorously spoke of his "E and A" which has shadowed him for over 25 years. After disclosing that he achieved an E in Business Studies A-Level and an A in Geology he told our audience to fight to achieve the career THEY want, as it is only then when your true passion is being fed that real achievements will be witnessed.

During the event, everyone was encouraged to mingle and take a selfie with another audience member. This activity reminded all our attendees that they are not alone, but rather are surrounded by fellow peers or mentors who want to help them succeed.

Feedback following the event was extremely positive, with a 100% record of attendees excited to attend Generation Success' next event. When asked to describe the event in one word, my personal favorite word was "blessing!" Hearing this, and knowing that Generation Success has positively impacted the lives of today's youths means our goal has been achieved.
