VIENNA, Austria, December 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
From 28th of February to 1st of March 2014, the jQuery Europe 2014 Conference will bring together well-known national and international speakers and web-pioneers to discuss newest trends and technologies with jQuery and JavaScript. This years' event focuses on "GET IN TOUCH: Swipe, drag and touch with the upcoming tablet devices becomes more and more important".
Patrick Lauke, Accessibility Consultant at The Paciello Group, will tell us under the topic "Getting touchy - an introduction to touch events" about how touchscreens are finding their ways into laptops and even desktop computers. With hardware support for touch becoming increasingly ubiquitous, it's time to explore what new possibilities are available to developers.
"Do you understand me? Supernatural and innovative interactions" will be presented by Sascha Wolter, who works for the Deutsche Telekom in Production & Innovation and will tell the participants about that we are forced to think about new approaches when it comes to machine-to-machine communication, connected vehicles and smart everyday things. This challenge is not limited to technical constraints and better user experience. We need to identify and sometimes create needs to develop new solutions. Sascha Wolter shows in his session a bunch of unconventional and inspiring scenarios including live demos using a variety of communication services.
The program for jQuery Europe is about to be finalized and within the following weeks more speakers and highlights will be announced here.(https://twitter.com/jqueryeurope)
Participants also have the possibility to attend the "JavaScript Best Practices" Training or the "Building WebApplications with Backbone" Training provided by Bocoup, (http://www.bocoup.com) the day before the event.
