Girls Generation Become Face of Casio Watches Baby-G Range

Korean pop sensations Girls Generation have signed to become the new face of Casio Watches Baby-G line in a number of Asian and Australasian nations. Girls' Generation will represent the face of the brand in South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia
The 9 member girl group who were created in 2007 have now been signed to Interscope records in the USA and have begun an all out assault on the American charts. The group became the first Korean group to appear on popular TV show 'Late Night with David Letterman' when they appeared to promote their single, an English Language version of a song "The Boys" in January 2012.
They have also scored a notable success for K-Pop in Europe where the song was released in France by Polydor Records.

The girl group will be the he face of a Baby-G advertising campaign that begins in July 2012 across Asia. The multi-member group were chosen as collectively they embody the "tough, cute, cool" concept of Baby-G, Casio's shock resistant watches for women.
Initially launched in 1994, Baby-G Watches inherits the toughness of the men's range of G-SHOCK watches. The Baby-G Watches brand has proven to be extremely popular with younger women, who appreciate how its design not only taps the latest trends but also allows individual expression, as well as the rich spectrum of colours. The Korean act will join Western stars such as Ke$ha and Rihanna in wearing the popular Japanese created timepiece brand
Their current single, called 'Paparazzi' was written by Swedish songwriters Fredrik Thomas Johan Becker and was released on 27th June. It has already been certified as having achieved gold level sales of more than 100,000 in Japan.
