LONDON, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Coms Mobile, part of the larger Coms plc group, is going global as it prepares to launch its first product for the Indian market.
Further to the Smarter Mobile UK acquisition in the last week, Coms Mobile has sealed the deal with a lucrative mobile phone operator in India to support subscribers who are travelling outside of their home country. This contract will allow users to make calls cheaply from anywhere in the world.
Initially, 4,000 SIM cards will be delivered to the customer in India, growing to a total of 35,000 SIMs in the first year. It is expected the business will grow to around 150,000 SIMs being sold by the end of the third year.
Dave Breith said, "This is another great win for Coms and demonstrates our commitment to the markets not only in the UK but global too."
This week has also seen another great win for the company and Coms is pleased to announce that the expertise in structured cabling, smart building technologies and support services by its subsidiary Redstone, has been recognised by a leading law firm.
Redstone carried out project work and support services for the firm which has resulted in increased revenue and combines multiple areas of Redstone's service offering.
Dave Breith added: "We are delighted with the scale, depth and diversity of these recent contract wins and this is all testament to the quality of products and services we are able to provide through Coms and our subsidiaries."
