Sotiris Sirmakezis, Group Chief Digital & Technology Officer said of Eurobank's decision to adopt Unily:
"As a part of an always connected, instant access environment, to accurately reflect our employees' changing work experience, we needed to explore the latest digital workplace solution to drive employee engagement, enable knowledge sharing across the organization, facilitate integration, enhance productive business relationships and build effective communication and collaboration. Unily's combination of experience design and Microsoft expertise will help ensure Eurobank provides a great user experience that will ultimately improve the level of care we provide to our workforce and our customers".
Eurobank, profitable for third straight quarter in 2016, holds a strong market position by being innovative, forward-thinking and strategic with acquisitions. With a total network of 900 branches in Greece and abroad, the Group offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to its retail and corporate customers, while at the same time recognizing the need for a central digital workplace platform to facilitate further global growth.
Unily will provide the bank with a cutting-edge internal site which combines the best of Microsoft's Office 365 stack; SharePoint, Yammer, OneDrive, Skype and Delve to deliver a unified enterprise portal. BrightStarr, the creators of the digital workplace solution commented:
"Unily enables global enterprises to implement cutting-edge intranet functionality as part of a monthly subscription service, with no up front development costs. Combined with inclusive customer success services and an on-going customer-driven roadmap, Unily ensures that organizations such as Eurobank are equipped with a future-proof intranet that will continue to add value.
Unily's ability to provide all users with a high-quality user experience, regardless of language, location or device was one of the major factors in Eurobank's choice over competitor products. Paul Jackson, Managing Director of BrightStarr said of Eurobank's decision to adopt Unily:
"We are delighted to have another major European organization choose Unily as their modern intranet, helping to take their business forward with better staff communication and collaboration. Their desire to adopt the very best technology for both their customer and their staff is a testament to the bank's commitment to be a digital leader in the financial services sector."
The Eurobank project is currently underway with a roll out planned for early 2017 to the bank's 9,800 Greek staff as part of a ten-year agreement. Eurobank's Athina Dessypri, Head of Group Human Resources said of the decision to purchase Unily:
"Our primary mission and commitment is to continuously improve our client relationships and sustain and improve our client reach, capitalizing on our universal banking expertise. At the same time, we operate in an industry that is vastly reshaping in terms of client offering, working methods, structures and job content. We need to strengthen the infrastructure that will help us connect the dots and allow for digital business transformation, new working culture incubation, new workspaces, collaboration and interaction. In this change journey, we need to increase employee access to information and resources and also build employee capabilities to meet our goals. The Unily digital workplace solution will assist in transforming our workforce capabilities and experience, while achieving a breakthrough in productivity and engagement."
Eurobank's Unily configuration will be directly onto a highly anticipated version of the platform that extends the social and collaborative functionality further for complex, multi-layered organizations like Eurobank. Unily's ability to provide the right solution for different user needs from its cloud-hosted core is one of the reasons it is credited with such success across such diverse and demanding international organizations.
