Harvey Nash Executive Search Hire Richard Simmonds as Director Within Their Industry Practice

Harvey Nash Executive Search are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Simmonds as Director within their Industry practice, based in London.

Richard joins Harvey Nash from Futurestep, which he joined as Head of Practice for Industry and Professional Services, before more recently being appointed as Head of Search for the UK business. Richard started his career in the Royal Navy, before joining as a trader within UBS, specialising in the Australian and New Zealand government and corporate markets.

Upon leaving the world of banking after six years, Richard joined a boutique consultancy where he went on to become a Director leading on construction, engineering and professional services within these sectors. Throughout his career, Richard has successfully developed a strong presence across the industrial sector, focusing on originating and executing assignments for high profile infrastructure, support services and professional services clients.

Richard, who also holds a LLB (Hons) in Law, said; "I'm delighted to join Harvey Nash at this exciting time in the firm's development. I'm excited about the growth opportunities that the business is looking to harness; both geographic and sectoral."
