Harvey Nash Receives Prestigious Awards for Contribution to Vietnam

HANOI, Vietnam and LONDON, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Harvey Nash Wins three 'Sao Khue Awards' Harvey Nash has earned distinction from the government of Vietnam, who presented the company with three awards. The Sao Khue Awards were initiated by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) in 2003, to honour organisations and individuals who deliver outstanding contribution to the development of the IT and software industry in Vietnam.

Presented by Vietnam's Minister of Information Technology and Communication (MIC), the first, for Software Development and Outsourcing Services, recognises Harvey Nash's success in providing expert software development services from Vietnam to customers in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.  The award was received by Cuong Nguyen Hung, Software Delivery Director.

The second award is for Business Process Outsourcing Services (BPO), the highest award in its category. The award was received by Harvey Nash Vietnam's BPO Manager, Ms Ha Vu on behalf of the Harvey Nash Outsourcing Division.  

The third award is in recognition for the 'Silk People Suite', a Harvey Nash payroll management software package written and developed specifically for the Vietnamese market.  The award was accepted by Mr Nghia Nguyen, Hanoi Delivery Manager for Harvey Nash, Vietnam.
