Now Hertz Gold Plus Rewards participants can earn and redeem their points in Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil as well as in the US and its territories, Canada and 9 European countries
Hertz, the world's largest general use car rental brand, has expanded its customer loyalty program, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards®, into three additional global markets. Now Hertz Gold Plus Rewards participants can earn and redeem their points for rentals in Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. With these new additions members in participating markets can now earn and redeem points for rental reward days in over 15 countries and territories around the world. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is a fast, easy, and flexible way for members to earn rental car reward days. Program participants earn one point per U.S. dollar or its equivalent spent on qualifying Hertz rentals. These points can be used towards rewards days (free time and mileage for a day's rental) in the participating markets.
Points are tracked automatically and don't expire with rental activity. Rewards are not subject to blackouts and can easily be redeemed online. Members have a wide choice of rental lengths and car types including the Prestige, Fun/Adrenaline, Green Collections in Europe and America, Family Collection in Europe, and specialty vehicles in Australia, Brazil and New Zealand.
Gold Plus Rewards may be redeemed for as few as 800 points for a weekend rental day in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom; 500 points for a weekend rental day in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico; and 1,200 points for a weekday or weekend rental day in Brazil.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards offers "AnyDay Rewards" with no black-out dates, allowing Members to use their Points at any time. Members also have the flexibility to use their Points when it is convenient for them because Gold Plus Rewards Points do not automatically expire. Each time a participant earns or redeems Points, their Points renew for an additional 24 months which means they do not have to worry about Points expiring. If participants prefer, they may still earn points in any of the other many partner loyalty programs in which Hertz participates, giving members greater choice and flexibility
Participants can earn Points on all their qualifying rentals by updating their #1 Club or #1 Club Gold profile at http://www.hertz.co.uk or earn on each rental by requesting or selecting to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points when they make their Hertz reservations. Points accumulate in the Member's account online and are redeemed online.
