Hertz Rent a Car and Nectar Renew Exclusive Partnership to Reward Customer Loyalty in the UK

Hertz, the world's leading general use car rental brand, has announced the renewal of its partnership with Nectar, the UK's leading loyalty programme. The new deal will mean that Hertz customers will benefit from the exclusive arrangement; allowing them to gain points on their rentals to spend across a range of Nectar partners including restaurants, retailers and travel. To celebrate the partnership renewal Hertz and Nectar will be rewarding customers with six points for every £1 spent until 31st March 2011. From then, Hertz customers will be rewarded with two Nectar points for every £1 spent. The process of collecting points couldn't be simpler; when booking online or over the phone renters just quote their Nectar membership number to collect points. Two points per £1 spent will be awarded on total cost of rental when Nectar card number is quoted at time of reservation. If all conditions are met the points will be added to the Nectar account within 28 days of the completion of the rental. Points awarded on total charge but excludes subsequent charges, i.e: vehicle damage, theft or motoring offences. Points cannot be exchanged for cash. Points are not transferable, and are only awarded to original recipient. For overseas rentals, reservation must be made and paid for in advance in the UK on the 'World on Wheels' (WOW) tariff.
