The re-launch of a Tulse Hill adventure playground by a local collaboration of High Trees, Lambeth Council, Bubbas Restaurant and Balfour Beatty was toasted by the local community at a high-spirited launch party last week. High profile speakers and local performers congregated to celebrate their achievements, reminisce about old times and rejoice in their future.

Several local musicians sang to the crowd, who enjoyed food and drink from the local Bubbas Restaurant, as their children tried out the new facilities.
Clovis Reid, who received an MBE for 40 years of service to the Lambeth community, spoke about his memories of Tulse Hill and how he recognised many faces from the 1970s in the audience, now with their own children. He said that it's projects like the new adventure playground that will keep people feeling good about their area for decades to come.
Margaret Pierre-Jarrett, Director of High Trees said: "High Trees is very keen and excited to be working with the community to find ways to open up the Adventure Playground more often so that local families can enjoy and benefit from using this space."
