HOYA Vision Care Establishes Subsidiary in Turkey

HOYA Corporation's Vision Care Division, a key player in the global market for ophthalmic lenses, is pleased to announce the creation of HOYA Turkey Optik Lens San. Tic. AS as an affiliate of HOYA Vision Care Europe.
The subsidiary has been established to provide better service and develop the local optical market. HOYA sees great opportunities to expand its business in Turkey and plans to open an Rx Lab for lens manufacturing that is due to become fully operational in January 2016. HOYA had previously sold its products in Turkey through a local distributor.
