Huawei Assists ZON OPTIMUS in Unveiling LTE Multi-Service Access Solution to Enterprise Users

LISBON, Portugal, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced that it is helping ZON OPTIMUS, one of the top two telecommunications carriers in Portugal, to release an LTE multi-service access solution for enterprise users. ZON OPTIMUS will adopt the Huawei AR G3 Enterprise LTE Solution to complete its LTE service tests and deployment which will provide high-quality interconnection services for enterprises.

As mobile broadband (MBB) services have been increasing in popularity, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) expect to be able to communicate anywhere and anytime. In response to this, carriers have been looking at areas to add value to their service offering. Huawei has partnered with ZON OPTIMUS to commercially deploy a national LTE network that will provide high-quality wireless broadband network services to 70% of Portuguese users. Through use of the Huawei AR G3 Enterprise LTE Solution, ZON OPTIMUS is able to offer wireless access with high bandwidth, wide coverage, and high reliability for enterprise users. In addition to meeting enterprise users' requirements for high-speed transmission of voice, video, multimedia, and VPN services on LTE lines, the solution will also bring innovative technologies such as end-to-end QoS and multi-link binding to ensure services are prioritized.
