Hult International Business School Completes Deployment of iPads to Five Campuses in Three Continents
BOSTON, January 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Hult International Business School completed a global roll out of Apple iPads with customized software to over 1,600 MBA, Executive MBA, Master students and faculty, spanning five campuses in three continents.
Hult's innovative approach will transform the postgraduate experience, allowing students and faculty to use the iPad as a central learning device. Every incoming graduate student at Hult received an iPad on campus in the fall of 2011. Customized training sessions were created for students and faculty at Hult's 5 campus locations in Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai and Shanghai. Students were trained on Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps, and the use of the iPad to enhance learning and productivity in the classroom.
In Q1 of 2012, the school will be rolling out a series of premium apps to its Hult network. This will feature Hult's custom designed iHult app, digitizing the student experience. It will include features like campus news, a professor directory, campus maps and student events. The Hult Reader app will give students easy access and reference to course reading materials, cutting down paper consumption. Digital textbooks, from leading companies such as Inkling, are already being used on Hult's campuses and have seen widespread adoption among faculty and students.
"From day one, we recognized the iPad's potential to transform the education experience. With our deployment, we are committed to providing our students and professors the latest productivity tools and training," said Dr. Stephen Hodges, President of Hult International Business School.
