Huntsman Textile Effects Wins 2014 ICIS Innovation Awards

Its AVITERA SE poly-reactive dyes for cotton and cotton blends were judged to be a significant scientific advance, and one that goes a long way to answering the textile industry's sustainability challenge in terms of water, energy and waste reductions.

The judging panel also awarded Clariant a special mention in the Best Process Innovation category, for its Heat Generating Material for use in on-purpose olefin production using the Catofin process.
