LONDON, April 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- After successfully operating out of two offices in the Asia Pac market for over four years, Hydrogen Group have now opened the doors of their third office, to support candidates and clients on the ground in Hong Kong.
With recent research confirming high satisfaction levels among relocating specialist professionals moving to Asia, in particular Hong Kong, and an increase in client and candidate demand from their existing Singapore office within the region - Hydrogen have further committed to strategically expand their Asia Pac business by placing themselves in the city's commercial centre.
Abigail Waudby, Hydrogen's Hong Kong Director, said, "After experiencing an unprecedented 400% growth in Singapore, we are starting the next chapter in our Asia story to extend our reach and provide the best possible service for local and global professionals and employers in the areas of Business Transformation, Technology Transformation, Legal, and Energy.
"This is a key region for us and a fantastic opportunity to partner with companies operating in one of the world's fastest growing and most attractive economies."
Reflecting due diligence and steadily building contacts from Singapore before making the move, Hydrogen differentiate themselves by investing in long term relationships and listening to feedback from clients and candidates to deliver a customised service for their individual requirements.
Knowing these local and international candidates allows Hydrogen to provide the best talent for their clients. With Asia being a rapidly developing trading environment, Hydrogen are set to help fill the skill gaps currently appearing at the more experienced end of the market, where there may be a lack of home grown experience to fill all available positions.
CEO Tim Smeaton commented on their annual candidate survey, "Thanks to our 'Global Professionals on the Move Report 2011' ( http://www.hydrogengroup.com/media/) Hydrogen understands the motivations of specialist professionals regarding working overseas and the impact the increase in 'global mobility' has had on the growing Asia Pac market. A staggering 100% of professionals we surveyed that were already working in Hong Kong confirmed it to be a positive experience, with a further 82% saying they would consider seeking permanent residency.
"The flourishing Asia Pac economies are ideally suited to high calibre candidates wanting to fast-track their career and/or gain international experience. Our understanding of this means we are ideally placed to assist candidates looking to relocate or return to Asia from abroad, as well as local professionals.
"Our continued success in this hugely exciting region has resulted in unprecedented growth for our Asia business in just over a year, where we are now recognised as global mobility industry experts."
Talking about the new Hong Kong office, Simon Walker, Asia Regional Managing Director pledged strong commitment to the region, saying "We see the Asia Pac region as part of our long term strategic growth plan. Our teams of experts based in both Singapore and Hong Kong will take a joined up approach to work with the other global offices in EMEA and Australia, offering a balance of local and global specialist knowledge and recruitment advice."
