LONDON, May 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IBC is pleased to announce that this year's IBC Leader's Summit will take place on Thursday 12 September at RAI, Amsterdam.
This year's theme is The Second Screen, Big Data & Regulation: Unlocking the potential and harnessing the power. Once more chaired by highly respected journalist, publisher, broadcaster and media owner, Andrew Neil, the day-long, invitation-only event will see some of the top movers and shakers in the electronic entertainment industry debate and discuss some of the most disruptive technologies that their industry has yet faced.
An A-list of influential attendees will gain access to exclusive research from Deloitte and hear valuable insights from the thought-leaders shaping the future roadmap as they examine the technological, creative and business implications of the Second Screen. The Summit will then turn its attention to the new analytics techniques of Big Data, asking exactly what it can deliver for the industry, before interrogating the role of the regulator and the role it has to play in ensuring continent-wide broadband connectivity. Are the right incentives in place for development? And given the patchy European landscape, do we need to dramatically change the regulatory approach?
The influential line-up of speakers features some of the premier thought-leaders in the industry and includes:
Michael Comish, CEO, Tesco Digital Entertainment
Mascha Driessen, Founder YouToo Global & Partner/Director, AdBirds Europe
Daniel Danker, Chief Product Officer, Shazam
Paul Lee, Head of Global TMT Research, co-author of TMT Predictions, Deloitte
