Iberian Entrepreneurs Compete in the Inclusion Plus Final Round
Entrepreneurs compete for the final awards to accelerate financial inclusion
MADRID, June 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Alda, Goin, GoParity, OpSeeker and Raize have been selected as finalists in Inclusion Plus in Iberia. The initiative is part of a global competition to identify and support entrepreneurs, non-profits and impact organizations that help advance financial inclusion for an estimated 2 billion people across the world.
Over 40 organizations submitted innovative products, programs and services that increase financial wellbeing for low-income individuals and families across Iberia, all competing for a total of €90,000 in grant funding from MetLife Foundation to scale their solution.
In the semi-final round, 18 advancing teams worked closely with MetLife employees to refine their pitches. The finalists advancing in the competition will have the opportunity to gain exposure and to compete for the final award in July.
ABOUT THE FINALISTS
Alda, of Spain, provides independent and professional financial advice to low-to-moderate income individuals, improving their access to products and services best suited for them.
Goin, of Spain, is a fintech solution that automates savings through rounding up purchases, allowing users to save on a daily basis.
GoParity, of Portugal, is a crowdlending platform, connecting small businesses seeking competitive financing with citizen-investors seeking profitable investment opportunities.
OpSeeker, of Spain, is an AI-powered financial coach that empowers low-to-moderate income young individuals to build better money management practices.
Raize, of Portugal, works with retail investors and small businesses to promote a more sustainable funding platform for the economy and incentivizes household savings.
