Seasoned aviation executive will provide strategic, customer-centric input to evolve IBS's portfolio of aviation operations products
ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- IBS Software, the global travel software specialists, has employed aviation industry veteran Tim Campbell as 'Senior Vice President, Business Development – Aviation Operations' to spearhead a new phase of global expansion. Tim will focus on providing strategic input on IBS's Aviation Operations product roadmap that reflects the future needs of IBS's global customers. The appointment comes shortly after IBS finalised a deal to acquire Canada-based aviation crew optimization leaders AD OPT, further expanding its footprint in North America, and boosting its go-to-market capabilities and addressable market.
Tim has held a number of roles in the airline industry, including serving as Senior Vice President, Air Operations for American Airlines Group, where he led the airline's flight and inflight teams, as well as the Integrated Operations Center (IOC), crew resources, operations planning and performance engineering functions. Tim has also held senior positions at Compass Airlines and Northwest Airlines, and began his professional career as an aeronautical engineer at Boeing.
