IMD and the Tuck School of Business Join Forces on Executive Program to Help Managers Shift to Leadership Positions
LAUSANNE, Switzerland, October 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
IMD's Transition to Business Leadership (TBL) program will be offered in two modules of two weeks, alternating between IMD and Tuck, starting in spring 2015.
IMD launched the program, designed for experienced functional managers who have transitioned-or will soon transition-into business leadership positions, earlier this year and it has become one of its most sought-after leadership programs. During TBL executives discover the challenges and pitfalls that accompany transitions into leadership roles.
The new collaboration combines top management thought from Tuck and IMD. Participants earn a dual certificate of completion from both schools.
"Tuck has a track record of developing strategic leaders and we are thrilled to collaborate with them," remarks program co-director Stewart Black of IMD.
TBL Module 1 takes place March 2-13 at IMD. Module 2 will be held at Tuck from April 20 to May 1. Pre-program and post-program distance learning is included.
TBL is led by IMD professors Stewart Black and Michael Watkins working in close collaboration with Sydney Finkelstein, Associate Dean for Executive Education at Tuck.
"There's a global shortage of capable leaders who want a competitive edge. This collaboration will help close the gap," said Finkelstein.
