IMD Announces Inspirational Keynote Speakers for Orchestrating Winning Performance

More than 300 business executives to attend top business leadership program
IMD, a top-ranked business school and worldwide expert in executive education, announces an inspiring agenda of keynote speakers for its largest business leadership program Orchestrating Winning Performance (OWP). Taking place June 27 - July 1, 2016 the program keynotes will include:
- Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations and founder and Chair of the Kofi Annan Foundation
- Yassmin Abdel-Magied, mechanical engineer, social advocate and the 2015 Queensland Young Australian of the Year
- Alexander Osterwalder, famed entrepreneur, bestselling author and co-founder of Strategyzer
- Mehdi Jomaa, former Prime Minister of Tunisia, and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015
To provide real world insight, OWP gathers this unique group of leaders in order to provide executives with inspiration and ideas for the future of business.
Since leaving the United Nations, Kofi Annan has been active pressing for policies that will meet the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable, particularly in Africa. He continues to use his experience to mediate and resolve conflict.
Yassmin Abdel-Magied advocates for the empowerment of youth, women and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She founded the non-for-profit Youth Without Borders at age 16.
Successful entrepreneur Alexander Osterwalder believes that CEOs need a partner for innovation inside their companies. He calls this person the Chief Entrepreneur (CE). Co-founder of Strategyzer, his company helps organizations develop new growth engines, better value propositions and powerful business models via online applications.
The personal leadership journey of Mehdi Jomaa, who trained first as a mechanical engineer and rose to become Tunisia's prime minister, is a model for international business and transformational leadership. His achievements in government and across industrial groups give insight to how political and business goals can work together.
In addition to these keynotes, OWP will offer an update on world competitiveness and the ranking of nations in a keynote with Professor Arturo Bris, Director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center.
Designed to develop leadership capabilities, OWP is a unique program in its flexible design, allowing participants, both individuals and teams, to create their own schedules. The 2016 edition of OWP offers more than 20 business and leadership topics to select from.
Some of the topics to be presented include marketing in the digital era, how to cope with digital disruption, doing business in Africa, understanding China's new normal, how to change employee behaviour, governance around the world and more. In addition, the program will provide special activities designed for fitness and creativity for in order to help executives sustain high performance on both in and out of the office.
