A leading Indian businessman has been recognised for his merits at the UK's Houses of Parliament.

Mr Jagjeet Singh, co-founder of TradeNext, received the award in recognition of his company's contribution to the financial services sector in the UK. TradeNext, the global FX firm, was awarded the 'Financial Services Provider of the Year' at the Political and Public Life awards held at the House of Commons.
The awards, hosted by the UK's longest standing MP of Asian-origin, Keith Vaz, and organised by the Asian Voice, celebrates personalities and businesses that have raised the profiles of British Asians within various domains including politics, industry, philanthropy, business and entertainment. In attendance was the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne.
