Information and Communications Technology Systems Professionals Gather for BICSI European Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland

Thirteen educational sessions are scheduled during the three-day conference. Topics include data centers, IP integration, green IT, electronic safety and security and more. These sessions are presented by ITS experts with extensive subject matter knowledge.
Throughout the European Conference, delegates will also have multiple opportunities to network with top exhibitors while taking in many of the cutting-edge products and solutions the industry has to offer in the Exhibit Hall.
This Conference also hosts the first European installment of the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge, an event that has been very successful in the United States. The BICSI European Cabling Skills Challenge will take place during evening Exhibit Hall hours on June 6 and 7. Competitors will race against the clock and each other to complete a set of industry tasks to correct specifications. The winner will be crowned European Installer of the Year and will be sponsored to compete in the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge in Orlando, Fla., USA, during the 2012 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition.
BICSI Cares, the charity arm of BICSI, will have a presence at the European Conference. All of the donations made to BICSI Cares during the conference will be given to The Teddy Bear Foundation, a Scotland-based children's charity which acts as a kind of "fairy godfather" to schools and organizations that work with children with special needs.
