Integer Research has launched a website to help truck fleets and owner-operators to locate the nearest Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) supply.

The site is supported by Canadian DEF distributors, vehicle manufacturers, equipment suppliers, trade groups and the American Petroleum Institute (API).
Shelly Hubbard, Brand Manager of H2Blu and Castrol Commercial Products and
H2Blu at Wakefield, said: "Canada's own brand of premium quality DEF is formulated with an emphasis on purity and performance, providing Canadian carriers with consistent product reliability. As time of writing, discoverDEF.ca listed 455 retail locations in the country stocking packaged DEF. Ontario had the largest number, with 181 retailers offering jugs of DEF, primarily vehicle dealers, and Quebec the second highest, with 122. Currently, five truck stops offer DEF at the pump, all operated by Pilot Flying J.
About Diesel Exhaust Fluid and Selective Catalytic Reduction
Environment Canada's harmonisation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 2010 emissions standards for on-highway vehicles has led to the widespread adoption of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology by medium and heavy-duty truck manufacturers. SCR works by spraying DEF into the exhaust stream to destroy dangerous NOx chemicals using an advanced catalyst system, significantly reducing pollution.
DEF is a non-toxic solution comprised of 32.5% pure urea in 67.5% de-ionized water.
