Intersolar Europe is Expanding its Portfolio to the Electrical Energy Storage Exhibition - EES
MUNICH, October 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Intersolar Europe Munich, June 4–6, 2014
Energy storage systems make a vital contribution to the energy transition. For instance, they allow higher on-site consumption of solar power, help take the load off power grids, play a central role in e-mobility and thus provide a safe and efficient power supply in various situations.Intersolar Europe is therefore expanding its range of topics to include additional promising fields within energy storage, in cooperation with Messe München International.
From 2014, ees, the Electrical Energy Storage exhibition, will take place under the same roof as Intersolar Europe, presenting a full spectrum of products in the areas of solar power production and electrical energy storage, in addition to the previous ranges. ees is the ideal platform for the rapidly growing energy storage systems market, covering the entire supply chain of innovative battery and energy storage system technologies, from components to production to concrete examples of application. A conference lasting several days is planned to coincide with the exhibition.
This year the topic is covered by the leading international exhibition productronica - in a special exhibit on battery storage system technology from November 12-15, 2013, manufacturers present the latest technologies and products in the area of electrical energy storage. The next ees takes place as part of Intersolar Europe at Messe München from June 4-6, 2014. It promises a highly attractive range of exhibits in high technology, together with the two Messe München GmbH exhibitions that are running parallel, Automatica - International Exhibition for Automation and Mechatronics and Maintain - International Exhibition for Industrial Maintenance.
Intersolar Europe 2014 takes place from June 4-6 at Messe München.

About Intersolar
With events spanning four continents, Intersolar is the world's leading exhibition series for the solar industry and its partners. It unites people and companies from around the world with the aim of increasing the share of solar power in our energy supply.
Intersolar Europe takes place annually at Messe München. It is the world's largest exhibition for the solar industry and its partners. In 2013, 1,292 international exhibitors and around 47,000 trade visitors attended Intersolar Europe. The exhibition focuses on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production technologies, energy storage systems and solar thermal technologies. Since its founding, it has become the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry. The accompanying Intersolar Europe Conference consolidates the topics of the exhibition. In 2013, more than 400 speakers and around 2,000 attendees discussed current industry topics and shed light on the background of technological, market and political developments.
Intersolar's storied history of international exhibitions and conferences spans more than 20 years. In 2008, Intersolar North America in San Francisco became the second exhibition after Intersolar Europe. This was followed by Intersolar India in Mumbai, Intersolar China in Beijing and Intersolar South America in São Paulo.
Intersolar Europe is organized by Solar Promotion GmbH, Pforzheim and Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG, both from Germany.
Messe München International
Messe München International is one of the world's leading exhibition organizers, with around 40 exhibitions for investment goods, consumer goods and new technologies at the Munich site alone. Over 30,000 exhibitors and around two million visitors annually take part in events held in the exhibition grounds, at the ICM - Internationales Congress Center München and the MOC Veranstaltungscenter München. The leading international exhibitions at Messe München International are certified by FKM, meaning that the numbers of exhibitors and visitors and area specifications are determined by uniform standards and verified by an independent
