Intuit Launches QuickBooks Certification for UK Accountants and Bookkeepers
LONDON, August 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Intuit has launched a QuickBooks training and certification programme for UK accountants and bookkeepers to become Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors.
The programme, available at no extra charge to members of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Programme, consists of 5 training modules with accompanying course handbooks and an online exam.
QuickBooks ProAdvisors who pass the 2012 exam achieve Certified ProAdvisor Status and get to use the Certified ProAdvisor logo on their website and in their marketing materials for one year. Two exam attempts are included with a ProAdvisor membership, further attempts are £50 each.
Alison Ball, head of accountant programmes at Intuit:
"The certification programme is designed for accountants and bookkeepers who use QuickBooks and want to deepen their knowledge and skills, as well as demonstrate their QuickBooks expertise to the growing number of UK small businesses using QuickBooks."
QuickBooks is the top selling accounting software in retail in the UK (GFK RT accounting software data for retail desktop units May 2011 - April 2012).
Jonathan Dawson from QBX - The QuickBooks Accountants was the first in the UK to pass the QuickBooks 2012 Certification exam, which he says will help show he is an expert to existing and potential clients:
"Although I have been using QuickBooks for fifteen years, I still found the certification process challenging. I am delighted to have an additional way to differentiate myself from accountants who don't have the depth of knowledge of how best to support clients using QuickBooks to run their businesses."
The QuickBooks 2012 Training modules:
- Setting up and customising data files
- Customer and supplier processes
- Reporting in QuickBooks
- Features for accountants in QuickBooks Premier 2012
- Recommending QuickBooks to your clients
