Isolux Corsán Expands its Presence in Africa With a €111 Million Contract in Senegal

- The company has been awarded a contract for the construction of a 194 km motorway between Ziguinchor and Kolda and the construction of the new Kolda bridge
- Isolux Corsán is present in ten countries in Africa, which represent approximately 5.2% of Group revenues
Isolux Corsán has been awarded a contract for the construction of the two sections of the 194.5 km RN6 motorway in Senegal and the construction of the new Kolda Bridge.
The project has a budget of over €111 million and calls for the widening, improvement and adaptation of the motorway that runs south of the Casamance River, between the river and the Guinea Bissau border and connecting the cities of Ziguinchor and Kolda.
As part of this project, Isolux Corsán will develop a series of actions that will result in improved quality of life and opportunities for local people, through the Integrated Environmental, Social and Health and Safety Action Plan.

This contract extends the presence of Isolux Corsán in Africa, where it already operates in ten countries: Algeria, Angola, Gabon, Kenya, Morocco, Mauritania, Mozambique, Uganda, South Africa and Senegal. Activity in Africa accounts for 5.2% of the Group revenues.
