JAC's New Car Model: J4 Launches in Chinese Market

HEFEI, China, Nov. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 2, 2013, after nearly one year's elaborate preparation, the newest JAC car model, the J4, officially launched in the Chinese market.

The J4 is manufactured in JAC's third passenger car plant which boasts many cutting edge technologies such as a totally automatic press line, world leading 2500 ton Servo press, hundreds of automatic robots, the world's highest level waterborne B1B2 free intermediate coating process and a highly effective L style assembly line layout.

Exquisite Exterior:

The J4 adopts a three piece type thick Chrome grille and integrates a front bumper which includes a lower air inlet grill and fog lamps. Diamond-shaped headlamps with their downside curve line create a wonderful visual effect. The newest design appearance is in line with current design trends by being both fashionable and kinetic. (J4 length*width* height is 4435*1725*1505mm, and wheelbase reaches 2560mm, which is comparable to vehicles in the same class.)

Spacious and Fashionable Interior:

The interior uses a fashionable T style integrated control panel and dual-color design. An added chrome plated silver trim makes the control panel more dynamic.

Cutting Edge Technologies:

The J4 is equipped with a number of advanced features including height-adjustable headlights, boneless wipers, ISOFIX (International Standards Organization FIX), front seat double auxiliary airbags, 9 edition ABS, EBD, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control system, front seat reading lamp, automatic constant temperature air conditioning, MP5+GPS+Bluetooth and IPOD supports.

Strong and Dynamic Power:

The J4 is equipped with a 1.5L VVT engine + CVT continuously variable transmission, which can ensure steadier starts and smoother acceleration. Fuel consumption is 5.9L/100km with comprehensive fuel consumption of the CVT model being 6.2L/100 km. The new Mcpherson type front suspension system with EPS can achieve intelligent power steering under various speeds while the fuel consumption is reduced, providing a smooth and dynamic operation experience for drivers.
