JGF-Europe combines a high-level portfolio of international jewellery suppliers, on-site trading, expert-led seminars, historical city tours, and much more.
The Jewellery & Gem Fair will open its doors in Europe for the first time on the 1 - 4 April 2014. The show will provide a platform for 430 leading jewellery exhibitors, and showcase an outstanding range of products such as fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, pearls, precious metals, tools, packaging and much more. JGF-Europe expects more than 6,000 trade visitors from around the world through its doors for this highly anticipated event, with free entry to those who register before the 28th March. The Jewellery & Gem Fair Europe will kick off with the opening ceremony on the 1 April at 9:00am, with the half hour ceremony being conducted by Prof. Dr. Martin Haag, Deputy Mayor of the City of Freiburg.

Fine jewellery suppliers and high-level visitors on-site
Exhibitors from over 33 countries and regions will be present on the show floor at JGF-Europe and the show organisers, UBM Asia and UBM Live, are delighted with the international representation. Within the halls of the Messe Freiburg will be over 45 jewellery suppliers from Hong Kong, 25 gemstone and gemstone jewellery suppliers from Thailand plus many other exhibitors, with a wide variety of high-quality product ranges from Brazil, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Colombia, Russia, Germany amongst others.
Amongst the benefits to the show is the allowance of direct, on-site trading. The main customs office from Lörrach will have an office at the fair to assist with the customs clearance of all sales and purchases. To ensure maximum safety, UBM will also cooperate with Brinks Security, a leading security company with the highest level of expertise in this area.

Talks and tours
Expert-led Seminar Sessions with will conducted at JGF-Europe, by the German Gemmological Society and The USE Education Centre of Pforzheim, again proving the industry support towards the fair. With topics such as high-tech gemmology, value types in the jewellery industry, classification and processing of precious stones, the short but full-bodied seminars reflect the themes of the exhibition: efficiency and high-value business in one of the most dynamic jewellery regions in the world.
Freiburg is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, and with a long history in precious metals and gemstones, JGF-Europe has joined forces with the City of Freiburg (FWTM) to provide its visitors with guided, jewellery-focused tours of the city. This scenic walking tour will cover the history of the Freiburg and its jewellery industry, enabling international visitors to generate added value from their visit. The "Silver, Gold, Carbuncle - Freiburg Jewellery and Treasure Stories" tour will take place in the afternoon of each show day, commencing from outside St. Martin's Church in the city centre.

Complimentary Shuttle Service
The Jewellery & Gem Fair Europe takes place at the same time as Baselworld and JGF-Europe is providing a free shuttle service to and from Basel and from Freiburg Haubtbahnhof, directly to the Messe Freiburg. Shuttle buses will depart from the Basel Claraplatz and the Badischer Bahnhof from the 1-4 April, starting daily at 08:30am leaving every half hour.
