John Lewis Insurance Produce New Web Videos
LONDON, March 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
John Lewis Insurance have produced a series of animated online films highlighting the benefits of their products.
The Mr&Mrs design studio created two films for John Lewis Pet and Wedding insurance, viewable on the website:
Pet: http://www.johnlewis-insurance.com/homepage/pet-insurance/pet-video.html
Wedding: http://www.johnlewis-insurance.com/homepage/wedding-insurance/wedding-video.html
The animations are designed to inform customers and provide an entertaining visual experience.
Highlighting key product features including Long Term cover which insures your pet for on-going treatment in the event of illness, and scenarios for which you might need wedding insurance, the videos are both explanatory and enjoyable.
Adam Taylor, manager of the John Lewis Insurance website, said: "The animations are elegant and polished, allowing us to explain our product features in a really compelling way while demonstrating our brand values."
Anne Brassier, from Mr&Mrs, explained: "We have created fluid and minimal illustrations using a Japanese script pen. The backgrounds are purposefully simple with a wash of colour representing the John Lewis Insurance colours.
"The 'reveals' in each film are clear - the moment when having John Lewis Insurance saves an otherwise dramatic scenario. So when the vet gives the sick dog his medicine, the pill is John Lewis green. And when the bride-to-be's repaired dress is handed safely back to her, the hanger is John Lewis green".
The visual mechanism is simple so that even if watched on mute the films would make sense.
