Program educates on how to achieve up-to-date accreditation under current hospital standards
OAK BROOK, Illinois, Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Joint Commission International (JCI) announces it will hold an Accreditation Update, 12-13 November, 2018, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The purpose of the course is to help JCI-accredited hospitals navigate the accreditation process under current standards, learn to overcome challenges in health care around the globe, and understand tangible benefits of JCI accreditation.
JCI's Accreditation Update, a two-day educational event, will feature JCI faculty-led sessions on the 6th edition hospital standards which are currently in effect until September 30, 2020. Onsite JCI faculty will include the primary author of the 6th edition hospital standards as well as a JCI surveyor.
"The JCI Accreditation Update is the only course of its kind in the Middle East and is a fantastic opportunity for any organization that has not yet been surveyed under the 6th edition hospital standards to receive essential, firsthand information about achieving accreditation under the new standards from top JCI experts," says Paul Reis, associate director, International Education, Joint Commission International.
The course will feature presentations that detail the new requirements as well as interactive, small-group work sessions that provide attendees with the opportunity to determine their organization's compliance needs through interactive discussions with JCI faculty and fellow attendees.
Attendees will also receive a generous supply of current, practical JCI publications, including the JCI hospital standards and survey process guides, in addition to other electronic documents on subjects closely related to JCI accreditation, patient safety and quality improvement.
The cost of JCI Accreditation Update is $1,200 USD per attendee. To register or find out about other upcoming JCI events and more, please visit JCI's website at: www.jointcommissioninternational.org.
