JCI will host the International Practicum on Accreditation and Quality Improvement in Seoul (2-6 September 2013), Dubai (27-31 October 2013), Miami (February 2014), and Singapore (April 2014).
This is JCI's most comprehensive educational program for unaccredited health care organizations that are considering accreditation or preparing for an initial survey. During the five-day practicum, presenters explain JCI's comprehensive standards and the process to achieve compliance. Attendees will follow a JCI expert on simulated tracers in local hospitals to see the survey process in action.
"The Practicum is ideal for hospitals considering first-time accreditation. The presentations are designed to clearly explain the survey process and help professionals understand how JCI accreditation can transform safety in every organization," explains Paul vanOstenberg, Vice President of International Accreditation, Standards, and Measurement, JCI.
JCI will host the 2013 International Accreditation Update in Seoul (29-30 August 2013), Singapore (9-10 September 2013), Bangkok (14-15 September 2013), Amsterdam (10-11 October 2013), and Dubai (28-29 October 2013).
The 2013 International Accreditation Update is for JCI-accredited organizations preparing to comply with new and substantially updated fifth edition of the Hospital Accreditation Standards.
During the workshop, hospital teams will learn strategies to comply with the latest standards and best practices in patient care. The program features presentations and small-group sessions to help prepare organizations for reaccreditation.
