The National Business Awards has today revealed the full line-up of judges for 2014. The judging panels will determine the winners across 17 categories, and will be headed up by Chair of Judges Dame Helen Alexander.
The judging panels will welcome some of the UK's best known business leaders, advisors, investors, influencers and entrepreneurs including Baydonhill Chairman Sir Eric Peacock, Sky News' Business News Editor Naomi Kerbel, Wayra Europe Director Simon Devonshire, Pacific Direct Founder Lara Morgan, and Supper Club Founder Duncan Cheatle. Also joining the 2014 Judging Panels will be Nick Temple, Head of Business at Social Enterprise UK, Thea Green, Founder of popular beauty brand Nails Inc, Dax Lovegrove, Head of Innovation at Kingfisher and Ed Wray, Co-Founder of Betfair.[1] (Please see footnotes for full judging lineup.)
National Business Awards winners are determined by a robust judging process. Entrants were initially judged on an entry questionnaire, from which the highest scoring entries were put forward as finalists by a Shortlist Panel of judges. Finalists must now present live to the relevant judging panel who will determine the overall winners, to be announced at the ceremony on 11th November.
Dame Helen Alexander, Chair of Judges said: "The National Business Awards are widely respected across the business community because of the robustness of the judging process and the quality of its judges. It's an incredible achievement to be recognised as a finalist because the rising standard of entries lifts the bar higher each year."
Alex Evans, Programme Director for the National Business Awards said: "Our judges have successfully led their own businesses or enabled excellence in organisations ranging from startups to PLCs - so they can offer invaluable advice as well as asking probing questions that can help these market leading businesses to perform even better and grow more sustainably."
The shortlist for the 2014 National Business Awards was announced in July, with finalists for the flagship Ashridge Business School Leader of the Year award due to be announced in the Telegraph on Saturday 4th October.
The overall winners will be announced at the annual Gala Dinner, which will talk place on Tuesday 11th November at The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. For more information or to attend the ceremony, visit http://www.nationalbusinessawards.co.uk.
