just-food Recruits News Editor to Join Editorial Team
LONDON, February 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
just-food.com, the food industry news and information portal, has appointed Hannah Abdulla to the post of news editor.
Adbulla joins from Dubai-based ITP Publishing Group, where she held a number of editorial positions, most recently as editor of Caterer Middle East. Previously she worked for retailer John Lewis, producing an in-house magazine for over two years.
Speaking about the appointment, just-food's managing editor, Dean Best, said: "just-food cover the food industry globally. Hannah's considerable experience in food journalism in Europe and the Middle East made the decision to appoint an easy one. We're delighted to have her on board".
just-food is produced by online B2B publisher, Aroq Limited. The news editor vacancy opened up as a result of the move of fellow journalist, Michelle Russell, to an editorial position at sister website, just-style.com.
Aroq's CEO, Richard Jackson, commented: "Aroq prides itself on being a world-class media organisation, and this is reflected in our recruitment policy. Hannah's appointment is proof that Aroq continues to be able to attract the very best talent from around the world".
The announcement follows the hiring in September 2013 of Harjit Abbi from TraderMediaGroup to just-food's corporate account team, and the appointment of former ClickThrough Marketing COO, John Newton, to the position of marketing director.
