LONDON, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
What and why: Launch of 'Is there more to life than making money?'. From the top deck of the HMS President, with the opulence of the Shard, London Eye, and the Houses of Parliament in the background, a robed Buddhist master leads dignitaries from the House of Lords, Action for Happiness, New Economics Foundation, and young ambassadors from The Prince's Trust, forming an arc of silent reflection.
The moment of calm on the World War I ship, amidst the cityscape, will mark the start of talks on 'Is there more to life than making money?' - part of the Wealth of Europe initiative, exploring the value of values in the 21st century economy. The talks will look at new poll results, which suggest responsibility and not money motivates young people in the UK and Europe.
