"Our latest release helps small to mid-sized businesses reduce telephony costs and increases employee productivity," said Heather Paunet, Director of Products. "We're improving phone systems with the introduction of auto provisioning for several video phones, caller ID labeling to help users respond appropriately to multiple incoming calls and more."
With new video calling for the Grandstream GXV and Polycom VVX video conferencing phones, IT administrators and end users benefit from a richer communications experience, improving employee productivity and collaboration.
Cost savings can be met by setting custom rules for outgoing calls, as those placed to various regions (based on prefix) can be directed through lower cost routes. Kerio has also enhanced the user experience by making it easier to set preferred call routes and removed the need for prepending numbers with dialing prefixes.
This new release allows more call settings to be adjusted when setting up the interface to a telephony provider, including audio gain levels and the sensitivity of the tones produced by dialing digits during a call (DTMF tones).
Kerio Operator is $30 USD/€27 EUR per user. The Kerio Operator Box 1220 hardware appliance is priced at $895 USD/€785 EUR. Kerio Operator 2.4 is available for download immediately with a free 30-day trial (including technical support). Visit http://www.kerio.com/operator for more information.
