Ketchum and Its Clients Win Four EMEA SABRE Awards
LONDON, May 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Global public relations firm Ketchum, the market leader in Europe, received four awards on behalf of its client work at last night's Holmes Group EMEA SABRE Awards ceremony in London. These awards come on the heels of the firm's top honours at the Americas SABRE Awards held in New York earlier this month, at which Ketchum won eight awards, winning more awards than any other firm for the fifth straight year. Ketchum also received four of the inaugural EMEA In2 SABRE Awards, awarded yesterday during the European In2 Summit.
Reacting to Ketchum's wins, David Gallagher, senior partner and CEO of Europe, said, "The biggest and best agencies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa compete to win SABRE EMEA Awards, so I'm very pleased that the work we've done with clients has been recognised against that stiff competition. Winning at this level is as much about effective partnership, trust and shared input as it is about creativity and strategic excellence, so these awards represent a real team effort between the agency and our clients."
Ketchum and its clients won EMEA SABRE Awards in the following categories:
Geographic SABRE Awards
DACH
"Teddies with a Mission"
Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics with Ketchum Pleon
RUSSIA AND THE CIS
"Kostroma: Digital Makeover"

"SPIEF Index"
EY with Ketchum Maslov
In addition, Ketchum Publico and Austrian Butchers were named a finalist for the best-in-show Platinum SABRE Award for "Austrian Butchers versus McDonald's - A David versus Goliath Story in the Digital Age."
Last week, Ketchum won three awards for work on behalf of its clients and for its corporate social responsibility initiatives at the PRWeek Global Awards, and earlier this year, Ketchum won US PRWeek's Campaign of the Year Award along with three additional US PRWeek Awards on behalf of its client work. These honours build on a record year of award wins, in which Ketchum won more trophies than any other public relations firm at the industry's most prestigious events. These include the firm's eight Americas SABRE Awards, nine Cannes Lions and nine Public Relations Society of America's Silver Anvil Awards.
