The company disclosed that it is now seeing over 108 million players and 12 billion gameplays a month across its entire network of online, mobile and social games. Out of the 108 million monthly players, 49 million play on mobile. Daily players across all platforms are now at 50 million.
"We have had lots of fun over the last 10 years making great games and we are honored to have acquired such a loyal fan-base. The exceptional growth of our mobile, Facebook, and cross-platform audience is a testament to the care and craft that goes into our games," said Riccardo Zacconi, co-founder and CEO of King. "We're pleased to announce two new Saga games on Facebook with Papa Pear Saga and Farm Heroes Saga. These games build upon our Saga portfolio with new concepts that players are sure to enjoy."
Based on King's popular skill game Papa Pear, the Saga game is an inventive reinterpretation of the iconic Japanese Pachinko games and the first King Saga game based on physics. The game introduces players to an endearingly wacky, colorful fantasy world where fruits, vegetables and other inanimate objects magically arise and break into dance. Players must try to make each Papa Pear shot bounce on as many objects as possible before landing in each bucket, waking up the sleepy giants, and advancing to the next level as they progress through the different worlds. Papa Pear Saga is in soft launch with 60 unique levels, three different game modes and several boosters to help players advance through the game. A mobile version of Papa Pear Saga will be coming soon to iOS (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) and Google Play (Android mobile and tablet devices).
In Farm Heroes Saga, players are invited to help three "farm heroes" - Hunter the dog, Amelia the pig and Choo Choo the chick - save the world's farms from the aggressive ambitions of Rancid the industrialist raccoon in this strategic match-3, item collection game. In one of King's most intricate Saga games yet, users play with multiple components per level, like collection targets, special missions, boss fights, avoiding blockers and more! Farm Heroes Saga is currently in soft launch and offers 70 unique levels, three different game modes and several boosters to help players advance through the game.
