Kristin Intress Announced as New Chief Executive Officer of Worldhotels

Robert Hornman hands over his responsibilities after six years of successful leadership
Worldhotels, a leading group of independent hotels worldwide, has announced a change in its management: Robert Hornman, current Chief Executive Officer, will leave the group this summer, handing over to Kristin Intress, who has joined Worldhotels as its new Chief Executive Officer on 3rd March. Robert Hornman will stay with the company until July 2014, assisting with the transition.
The group's new Chief Executive Officer, Kristin Intress, is a hospitality industry expert with a broad entrepreneurial know-how. During the course of her career, she has served in multiple executive sales and marketing positions and has been a successful restaurant entrepreneur. Most recently before joining Worldhotels, she was President and Chief Executive Officer of InnLink LLC, a leading CRS provider based in Nashville, US. Under her leadership Innlink LLC has developed into one of the most successful CRS providers serving over 7,000 independent hotels worldwide.
Robert Hornman has led Worldhotels for the past six years as its Chief Executive Officer. His main achievements during this tenure include the launch of Worldhotels' new branding solution in 2010, the introduction of a new brand identity in 2012 and the creation of a global loyalty programme which will be launched in Q2 2014. Hornman will relocate to Cape Town, South Africa, to pursue a new career as an entrepreneur, planning to provide hospitality services to the tourism industry in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Kristin Intress will be introduced to Worldhotels' clients and hotels during ITB 2014 and will also attend the group's press conference 'Launch Preview of Worldhotels' Global Loyalty Programme & Brunch' on 6th March from 11 am to noon in Salon 19, ICC Berlin.
