Carrentals.co.uk customers raise vital funds for Reuben's Retreat through comparators 'Book and Donate' Scheme

Global car hire comparator Carrentals.co.uk has raised over £1000 for North West charity Reuben's Retreat. The two organisations teamed up earlier in the year to run a 'Book and Donate' scheme, in which the comparison site donates £1 for every booking made on six designated days.

Customers booking car hire through the site in March, April or May 2013 were urged to make their booking on one of the two designated days in each month to help raise money for the charity. Reuben's Retreat is a charity set up in memory of Reuben Michael Graham who tragically passed away aged 23 months.

Alison Rothwell, Reuben's godmother and Project Manager of Reuben's Retreat, explained: "The charity aims to open a retreat in the North West countryside that will address the distress of families and their close friends who have suffered the bereavement of a child, or have a child suffering from a life-limiting or life-threatening illness."
