Edison's note, £3-15m mini-bond issue, highlights Ocean Capital's bid to raise between £3m (the subscription threshold) and £15m in a mini-bond issue (The Ocean Capital Bond No. 1). If the subscription threshold is not achieved by 11am on 19 December 2013, all funds will be returned to prospective bondholders. The unsecured bonds have a three-year term and a fixed 6.5% pa gross return will be paid net after deducting basic UK tax (currently 20%); payments will be quarterly. The bonds are non-transferable and non-redeemable, and there is no intention to lists the bonds on any recognised market.
