Lidl Awards Wirecard Bank Contract for e-Money Gift Cards

In conjunction with its German sales companies, Lidl Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG has commissioned Wirecard Bank AG, subsidiary of the listed company Wirecard AG, to issue and process the new Lidl gift cards. The cards, which come in various different values, will be available to purchase or redeem at more than 3,300 Lidl branches in Germany from the beginning of December 2013.

The Lidl gift cards offer complete flexibility for comprehensive multi-channel application: whether offline in bricks and mortar shops or online via the German Lidl online shop http://www.lidl.de, they can be redeemed through all sales channels.
