Lighting the Future with Love, ET Solar and UNICEF to Launch a Child Welfare Field Trip
MUNICH, Aug. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ET Solar Energy Corp. ("ET Solar"), a leading smart energy solutions provider, today announces that it will launch a field trip with United Nations Children's Fund ("UNICEF") for Child Welfare Demonstration Project ("CWDP") located in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province, China.
UNICEF has been playing a key role in children's living environment around the world for many years. Being a company which continuously cares about Corporate Social Responsibility and especially children's welfare, ET Solar has been the corporate partner of UNICEF to provide financial support for CWDP since 2013. The fund dedicates to supporting Child Welfare Directors' work including home visits, education, health care and group activities for vulnerable children.
During the field trip, the participants will visit children's families, participate in group activities with children, and communicate with Child Welfare Directors and local officials to have insight into the impact of the work on children's lives and some of the challenges they still face. Undoubtedly, this field trip will be a meaningful activity.
About CWDP in Zhaojue County: Currently, 10 out of 268 villages in Zhaojue County are selected to become CWDP sites. All 4,887 children in the 10 villages are supported by the village Child Welfare Director. The children without care givers are receiving monthly government allowance for living and schooling, and supplement funds for building or fixing up homes. Each of the 10 villages has a place for children to play, interact and learn together.
