LSBF Adds More Flexibility to GGSB BIB With Year-2 and Year-3 Entry Options
LONDON, June 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Students looking to acquire a high-ranking undergraduate degree in international business now have more flexible options: the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) has today opened applications for years 2 and 3 of the GGSB Bachelors in International Business (GGSB BIB) programme. The course is developed and delivered in the UK by the triple-accredited Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB), exclusively at LSBF's London campus.
Ranked among the top 5 French bachelors in business, the GGSB BIB is a comprehensive programme that provides graduates with a broad introduction to management, international business, and foreign culture and languages. The three-year programme blends theoretical and practical learning, and offers four specialisation pathways: Global Management, Finance & Accounting, Marketing & Advertising, and Fashion & Design.
"The GGSB BIB is the ideal course for anyone looking to kick-start a career in international business. The course's syllabus was developed with the needs of global businesses in mind, which gives students access to a wide range of career options anywhere in the world," said Dr Steve Priddy, Director of Research and Academic Dean for GGSB programmes at LSBF. "By making the programme available to Year-2 and Year-3 entrants, we enable students who have already started their studies to acquire a qualification that better meets their career goals. We ensure students really understand what it takes to work for global organisations."
As part of the programme, students are required to devote at least 21 weeks of company-based learning, either in the form of a work placement or a full-time paid internship. With the expertise of LSBF's Careers Team, students have access to professional development workshops, networking events, and job search support. Students in the GGSB programmes can also have study at the university's campus in Grenoble, France.
José André Adam Perez, who graduated in 2013 and went on to co-found the New York-based shoe brand André Coton, commented: "With the BIB I was able to understand how businesses work on an international basis, and I got the real hands-on education which I was looking for. London is the financial capital of Europe, so it's a really strategic place to be if you want a career in international business."
