MailTrack is an easy-to-install application that carries the double-checks from software's such as WhatsApp and Telegram to Gmail, so that its users know when their e-mails have been opened. The concept translates the technology from the mass email marketing industry, well-known from programs like MailChimp, to the popular format of the checks on individual emails.
Expansion to mobile and other platforms
The good performance has been celebrated by the company, and it takes it to accelerate the project in order to keep its sustainability. According Nacho González, CEO of MailTrack and founder of companies such as InfoJobs and Niumba.com (recently sold to TripAdvisor), the expansion of the MailTrack team with new hires and the creation of new versions for other platforms is a priority.
"Our main focus right now is to develop MailTrack for mobile devices, and also to have a version for Firefox browsers by the end of the year", explains Nacho.
Professional Plans in 2015
As a business plan, the company follows the freemium model, offering forever and for free the double-checks for read receipts. In 2015, the founders plan to launch paid plans for professional profiles, so as to keep both the company and the services offered with no charge.
MailTrack came up from a group of professionals gathered by Nacho González, Gabriel García and Gil Casadevall - respectively CEO, CPO and CTO of MailTrack. As business partners, the startup counts with Daniel Giménez (CTO/Founder of Trovit.com), Jesús Monleón (Cofounder of Offerum.com), David Tomás (Founder of Cyberclick) and Eduardo Manchón (Founder of Panoramio, sold to Google).
Currently, MailTrack can be installed from the Chrome Webstore or http://www.mailtrack.io.
