Mapi Research Trust collaborates with CRF Health to include eCOA solutions on PROQOLID
LYON, France, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mapi Research Trust, the leading curator and license distributor of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) and CRF Health, the leading global provider of electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) solutions for the life sciences industry, collaborate to solve one of the issues routinely communicated by Life Science companies: visibility to which COAs have been successfully implemented on electronic platforms. The growing demand for electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOA) in clinical trials has created a significant need for this information. As the first eCOA provider to directly contribute into PROQOLID on COAs migrated to its TrialMax® platform, CRF Health will work with the Mapi Research Trust to reduce the burden in selecting and deploying TrialMax eCOA Solutions.
"With this collaboration, Mapi Research Trust continues its mission to provide reliable information on available Clinical Outcomes Assessments and their modalities," said Katrin Conway, Mapi Research Trust's Managing Director. "It is the mission of the non-profit Mapi Research Trust to enable collaborations between questionnaire developers, academic, commercial researchers and eCOA solutions providers, assuring quality and integrity of the instruments through safeguarding the copyrights and licensing support of works and their derivatives."
CRF Health is among over 100 Life-Science companies, regulatory bodies, researchers, clinicians, hospitals, universities, and academics with full subscriptions to PROQOLID, the world's most referenced index of Clinical Outcomes Assessments.
"CRF Health is dedicated to delivering high-quality electronic implementations of clinical outcome assessment, backed by scientific expertise and close instrument author interaction. We are delighted to be the first named eCOA provider to have our solutions included on the PROQOLID database," comments Paul O'Donohoe, Director of Health Outcomes at CRF Health. "The database provides a key source of COA intelligence and with the inclusion of information about which questionnaires have previously been migrated to the TrialMax electronic platform, brings additional value to sponsors and CROs in the selection of an eCOA solution for clinical trials."
