Maxion Wheels announces significant investment in Ostrava, Czech aluminum facility
OSTRAVA, Czech Republic, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxion Wheels is pleased to announce an important investment program at its aluminum wheel production facility in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
The investment program will focus on competitive technology advantages, low energy utilization and waste reduction. At the same time, the plant's paint capabilities will be enhanced to match its customers' increasing styling demands for aluminum wheels while maintaining the highest possible quality standards.
In 2012, Maxion Wheels's Czech Republic operations produced over 1.8 million aluminum wheels that were supplied to many leading European vehicle manufacturers.
