MindLink Software Announces MindLink for Mac and Linux

Bringing persistent chat capabilities to Apple desktop and Linux users

MindLink Software, a provider of business-critical collaboration and persistent chat solutions, has today announced that its platform is fully Mac and Linux-compatible. The announcement of MindLink for Mac and Linux follows the introduction of the company's native iPhone app in 2012 and makes MindLink the only persistent chat tool on the market to support the Apple desktop and Linux operating systems. The move comes as the use of Apple products (Mac, iPhone, iPad) within the business environment continues to increase^[1].

MindLink provides a structured and secure way for employees to share information and knowledge in real-time using a 'free flow' conversational style. By focusing on business collaboration and team efficiency, it enables organisations to benefit from the shared expertise of their staff, regardless of their role, geographical location or the technology they are using.

Software company EventZero has been trialling MindLink for both their PC and Mac users. Note 1:  In June 2013, Gartner research vice president Carolina Milanesi predicted that sales of devices based on Apple's Mac OS and iOS will overtake those of products running Windows in 2015.
