"The remittance industry in Iraq is growing and MoneyGram's presence in the country is growing with it to provide more choices for customers who need to send or receive money to and from loved ones around the world," says Maher Haddad, MoneyGram's senior regional director. "Adding Iraq, one of the most under-banked countries in the Middle East, to our global network aligns with our strategy to deliver access to financial services to unbanked and under-banked consumers."
