My Nametags Launches new Full Colour Iron-on Nametags - With a 10-Year Washing Guarantee

Today the boring old nametape has gone full colour, with a large choice of fonts and designs to make them more attractive to the most fashion-conscious child. My Nametags new full colour range costs only GBP9.95 each, carry a 10-year washing guarantee, and are usually delivered in less than 48 hours.

In 1995, sew-on nametags represented almost the totality of the UK market for labelling clothes. However a rapid decline in sewing skills in the home, paired with improvements in iron-on nametags, has lead to their share halving over the past 15 years, as people switch over to iron-on.

Nametapes have been around in the UK since about 1870. The first iron-on nametags appeared 20 years ago, and since then we have seen a steady decline of woven nametapes as parents move to the convenience of iron-ons.
